Holiday Weight Loss Tips and Tricks… The Brasil Body Cleanse difference

Holiday Weight Loss Tips and Tricks… The Brasil Body Cleanse difference.

Well, it’s THAT time of year again! You know, when you throw out last year’s New Year’s resolution and eat everything in sight? That’s right, the holidays are here, so relax and enjoy yourself, and this season, keep the weight off with Divine Tropical’s all natural Brasil Cleanse weight loss formulas!

Did you know that most adult Americans gain about a pound during the holidays?  Doesn’t sound like much right?  Well, the bad news is that we also tend to keep that extra pound and continue gaining additional holiday pounds over our lifetimes.

“Most people don’t ever lose the pound of weight they put on during the holidays, according to a report in The New England Journal of Medicine. Since the average weight gain during adulthood is about one to two pounds a year, that means much of midlife weight gain can be explained by holiday eating.”

So, over the course of 20 or 30 years, you guessed it! you will have gained an additional 20-30 pounds, not so good.  TropicalWeightLoss.com is dedicated to helping you maintain -or regain- a healthy body weight, lose body fat, with natural weight loss supplements, diet and exercise tips, and boosting your confidence with weight loss stories from people just like you!

Water and weight loss… another secret weapon?     I recently read an article in Web MD which quotes a study in which adults who drank 2 8oz. glasses of water shortly before a full meal ate between 75 and 90 fewer calories during the meal.  “After 12 weeks, water drinkers lost about 15.5 pounds, compared to non-water-drinking dieters, who lost only 11 pounds.”

So think about what you are drinking before and during your meals, is it water? or are you drinking sugary cola’s, sweet tea etc.?  Ok, you’re probably thinking “I drink no-calorie diet drinks with dinner, so I’ve got nothing to worry about”… Well, not so fast…

“Diet Soda Linked To Weight Gain”

UGH! Even so-called “diet” drinks have unhealthy consequences, according to a recent 9 year study quoted in the Huffington Post, those who drink non-sugar beverages as an alternative to regular cola’s… “Researchers found that the diet soda drinkers had waist circumference increases of 70 percent greater than those who non-diet soda drinkers. And people who drank diet soda… most frequently — at least two diet sodas a day — had waist circumference increases that were 500 percent greater than people who didn’t drink any diet soda, the study said.”

The study also found that for those who are diabetic, the most common sugar alternative in diet drinks “aspartame”, also caused a noticible increase in blood-glucose levels immediately after consumption.

Are you still with me?  NEWSFLASH! DON’T GIVE UP!

Despite all of this, PLEASE DON’T GIVE UP!  You are NOT alone, it may seem daunting, but losing weight and/or keeping it off is really pretty simple, and here are a few holiday weight loss tips so you can enjoy the holidays, spend time with your family, and lose weight too!

  1. Drink 2 8oz glasses of water prior to meals.  This alone will help you lose -on average- of 15 pounds over the next 12 weeks.
  2. Skip the sugary drinks AND YES, the diet drinks too (drinks and desserts made with all natural stevia are ok).  You may have to cut back slowly, but it’s possible, and for the reasons I stated above, IT’S WORTH IT!
  3. ENJOY YOURSELF!  The holidays are a time of celebration, DON’T PUNISH YOURSELF if you slip up and eat or drink more than you should, just make a mental note and move on.
  4. Consider a 2-week or 30-day natural body cleanse, or if you just need to shed a few pounds, an Acai Berry supplement may do the trick, before, during, or after the holidays.

Remember, there is no substitute, for eating healthier foods, implementing sensible diet and execise routines, drinking water throughout the day, and including pure, all natural dietary ingredients like the ones found in all of Divine Tropical’s “Brasil Cleanse” supplements, but losing weight is not just a destination, it’s a journey, so take it easy on yourself, you’ll lose the weight, and be glad you did!

  4. Excellent blog! Do you have any tips and hints for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m completely confused .. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Hi Allan, This is a brand new project for me on a subject that is close to my heart (and stomach!), I am not a Word Press expert, but I do like the simplicity of the interface and with practice, it’s quite intuitive. For me, free is best, and if WP is not to your liking, you can always move to a paid option, I’ll do a little research and get back with you on that…
As far as writing, I can only say that you should have a passion and interest for your subject, and it is SO IMPORTANT to be honest, and humble, I consider myself very knowledgeable about healthy foods and supplements, and cooking, but I am not a GURU, and I am more than willing to learn from good folks like you and admit if I have made a mistake somewhere! Final hint, write like you are talking to someone who is in the room with you, just speak naturally (but in writing of course), and it will all fall into place.
